Our Life Lines of Love initiative serves as a beacon of hope for the community we serve. This initiative provides essential items to those who need them most. We focus on addressing our community's immediate needs and bridging the gap with available resources.

Our Warming Package is specifically designed to provide essential warming items to individuals in need during the cold winter months. The packages are typically distributed to homeless persons and those residing in transitional housing. Depending on available resources, the Warming Package may consist of a hat, gloves, scarves, socks, hand warmers, emergency blankets, and throw blankets. We regularly solicit donations and supplies for our Warming Care Package.

Our Basic Essentials care package provides the everyday toiletries one needs for basic hygiene. These care packages are typically give to those in transitional housing. Upon request we have given these care packages to children and seniors in underserved areas. Depending on resources, the care package can consist of : toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, washcloth, deodorant, feminine care products, shaving products, lotion, Vaseline, etc. We routinely solicit donations for our Basic Essentials care package.

Our Home to Home care package provides essential household items to underserved communities. Package may include: toilet paper, hand soap, detergent, sanitizer, bath soap and dish soap. These care packages are frequently distributed to our low-income senior community. We solicit donations for this care package on a routine basis.

We continually seek opportunities to enhance and fortify our community. We have several additional care package initiatives in development. As funding allows, we will announce details of these outstanding projects.

Ida’s Pantry is our answer to helping bridge the gap of food insecurity. We have several initiatives that address food insecurities in various communities. The majority of our meals are hand prepared and personally distributed by our organization. 

Our Pop-up Lunch initiative provides sustenance and support, preparing and distributing cold and hot lunches throughout the community to those who need it most. Initially, the program prepared bag lunches and distributed them to the homeless community, but due to overwhelming demand, the program expanded to include hot lunches and further distribution to other underserved communities, such as those in transitional housing and various senior communities. Lunches are regularly prepared and personally delivered throughout the city and surrounding areas. Our reach extends from abandoned houses, steps of buildings, under bridges to shelters and transitional housing. Hunger is a pervasive issue and we strive to address it wherever it exists.

During the holidays, we organize fundraising initiatives to solicit donations for different charitable events. We raise funds to purchase turkeys for families in need during the Thanksgiving holiday. We host Christmas dinners for our senior community and also provide special meal events for Mother's and Father's Day. Throughout the year, we additionally provide special meal events celebrating children's achievements.
